We have been together since 1998 and legally married since 2010. We are proud parents of our wonderful children, Roman and Edyn. We met in New York City - coming from opposite sides of the world (a Brit and an American) with different perspectives meant learning to adapt to our different social and cultural dynamics and educating ourselves about each others’ beliefs, life experiences, and ambitions. The journey has been one of introspection, challenges, self-growth, and moving to a more actualized, authentic partnership in life and love.

Raising our children has given us a new appreciation for education and its power to impact the human condition positively. We educate our children on the importance of being good listeners, having a kind heart, and a strong willingness to help others. Because we value education as a key tenant of our family, our contribution to the empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community is the gift of education with the hope that it will be used to dismantle systemic injustices plaguing marginalized communities across the nation and protect their right to live authentically with liberty and security.
